IFPDA - International Fine Print Dealer's Association

The Annual International Fine Print Dealers Association Book Award

The IFPDA seeks to encourage print research, scholarship and the discussion of new ideas in the field of fine prints by annually awarding one outstanding publication a prize of $2,000. Work discussing any aspect of printmaking from its beginnings until the present day is welcomed.

Submissions are vetted by a jury selected according to the area of expertise that is most appropriate to the publication. The jury takes into account the contribution each work has made through the presentation of fresh ideas, original research and the creative interpretation of prior scholarship.

We are now accepting entries for the 2008 award. Books, articles or catalogs on fine prints published during 2007 are eligible for consideration, but must be received no later than June 1, 2008. The award recipient will be announced in November 2008.

For award guidelines and information on how to submit an entry, please see the Submission Form 2008 or call 212-674-6095 to receive a copy by fax or mail.
