| Guidelines
The International Fine Print Dealers Association seeks to encourage print research, scholarship and the discussion of new ideas in the field of fine prints by annually awarding one outstanding publication a prize of $2,000. The competition is open to the author of works (book, catalogue or article) published during 2007 discussing any aspect of printmaking from its beginnings until the present day. GUIDELINES - Nominations may be submitted by anyone including the authors, editors or publishers. - Works must have been published in 2007. - Unpublished works are not eligible for consideration. - Submission of single artisit mongraphs is discouraged. Review of submissions will be made by a jury selected according to the area of expertise that is most appropriate to the submission. The jury will evaluate the contribution each submission makes through the presentation of fresh ideas, original research and the creative interpretation of prior scholarship. The jury reserves the right not to make an award if the submissions received fail to meet the award standards and guidelines. The winner of the award will be announced in November. The decision of the jury is final.
